Sorry to take so long in getting back on the Penny train.

Out last night in Banff. The train came in and everyone rode for free. Found over $5.33 in change. loonies,twoonies,pennies and of course my lucky dime.

As you know my Tally is far away. I was at a bar and at the end of the evening after finding and giving away part of my fortune.

I bumped into a couple. They were obviously in love. Just as I had literally bumped into them I looked down and there was a shiny penny.

I picked it up and proceeded to give it to them. I told them it would bring them good luck.

We ended up chatting and wouldn’t you just know it. The woman’s mother was from the same city in South America as my Tally. What are the odds … 6000 + kms and here I meet a lady whose Mom lives in the same city. The lady also lives just outside of my Tally’s city.

We talked a little bit more,exchanged e-mails, found out about their relationship (similar to me and my Tally)

As I was leaving (and I know this sounds impossible) there was another shiny penny in the exact same spot where I found the first one! I gave them that penny too and told them they would be extremely lucky with their realtionship.

It was a surreal night.

sidenote : My Tally loves all my dime/penny stories and has started her own dime find collection.
