Its been a long while since I slept out under the stars…In fact the last time I did that was on September 11, 2001 and yes I was at the scene of Ground Zero. I went down with a volunteer force of EMT’s …we wanted to help. I helped set up triage areas moving boxes of medical supplies…and around 4 am I got tired and I found a park bench and I laid down to rest I looked up and there was a star filled night above me. I want the next time I sleep under the stars to be in the wilderness with people I love around me.

I love gardening. Since Ive moved Ive had little oppurtunity to do that. I have plants here in my apartment and thats cool but Digging in the Earth is so much better. I actually have one little sunflower planted in my landlords garden..today its been very windy and Ive been afraid my little flower would break I hope it can withstand. The bloom should open in a day or two!
Ive taken one trip across this country, yet I want to do another one…US hwy. 50 goes coast to coast Maryland to San Fransico CA. I dont really wish to travel the world over,.... I live on the continent of North America and I havent seen it all…Ive never been to Mexico…and Canada is so Beautiful!!
Visit Wulf Berg’s website, I borrowed the graphic up there from him. He has a marvelous book about his trip on US 50…I want to experience my life one step at a time.
