This past Spring I took a road trip to the deserts of Arizona. A friend moved to the Phoenix area so I drove the over 2,000 miles to her home and we camped under the stars in the Sonoran Desert!! I saw so many beautiful plants and cacti and landscapes…I had such a wonderful time…

How I did it: Realizing the only way to be secure that you have enough time, money, etc to take a long trip is to JUST DO IT! I learned this lesson long ago. I wanted to travel this year take an extended vacation. The last 2 yrs I was able to fly using a frequent flyer points free trip - but this yr no such luck. I believe in the Law of Attraction and the way it works is to live as if you already have enough-- so that … Read how I did it…
How I did it: When I moved back to SC from NYC-I had time and space to plant a garden. I marked out a small plot not wanting to bite off more than I can chew. I have been adding organic matter as often as I can -Plenty of free manure at the race track here in my area. Then I put a short fence around it to keep critters out..and I have 6 beds, and put my tomatoes in large plastic pots. This year I planted 3 cherry tomatoes and one… Read how I did it…
How I did it: Well now that Im all moved out NYC--Im back to living a life in Rural SC..its all sand and bare feet and the good life, and if you believe that I got a bridge to sell ya--HASo this pack of 7 pups got dumped off near our home I called them the Timber Creek Pack (check out the blog I kept during the time I ws taking care of the Pack) cause I found them on TimberCreek Rd.....and I made it my business to find homes for all of them… Read how I did it…

Its been a long while since I slept out under the stars…In fact the last time I did that was on September 11, 2001 and yes I was at the scene of Ground Zero. I went down with a volunteer force of EMT’s …we wanted to help. I helped set up triage areas moving boxes of medical supplies…and around 4 am I got tired and I found a park bench and I laid down to rest I looked up and there was a star filled night above me. I want the next time I sleep under the stars to be in the wilderness with people I love around me.
I love gardening. Since Ive moved Ive had little oppurtunity to do that. I have plants here in my apartment and thats cool but Digging in the Earth is so much better. I actually have one little sunflower planted in my landlords garden..today its been very windy and Ive been afraid my little flower would break I hope it can withstand. The bloom should open in a day or two!
