I’m currently in madrid and studying at one of the universities in the city centre. The city is lovely, but the people can be unwelcoming, especially when it’s obvious (having blonde hair and blue eyes) that I am a foreigner! But I believe this is one of the best ways to learn the language. I’m far from fluent, but being forced to speak to spanish people everyday means that my confidence is growing (slowly!) But I’ll keep trying :)

id like to help my best friend. until 6 days ago, i didnt realise how much i cared about her, but now i know that i would do anything to help her. we are thousands of miles away from home, studying together and only have eachother to remind us of sunny england! i hope she knows how much she means to me.
