Things You’ll Need:

!!A brain
!!Some artistic ability
!!Common sense
!!Paint, markers etc
!!Courage

Steps:

(1)Go out and buy some paper or a sketchpad (carry with you at all times).
(2)Choose a name that you would like to write.
(3)Look for inspiration in your city and on the internet, but do not directly copy anything you see; this is a horrible thing to do and will brand you as a toy for along time.
(4)After months of practice and sketching, go buy some permanent markers or make your own and begin tagging.
(5)After this work your way up to stickers, stencils or begin doing throwups.
(6)Meet other artists of your skill and of greater skill, learn from your superiors in this subculture and help your equals.

Tips:

(1)Never paint over pieces or throwups of more talented artists than yourself.
(2)Use the cover of night, go out late and wear brown, camo or black clothing.
(3)Respect, but donot pester those artists more skilled than yourself.
(4)No one can apprehend you but the police so if someone grabs you fight back and run away.
(5)DONOT GET CAUGHT!!!!

Yo check out ma first tutorial on how to turn a tag into a piece..Work with diz shyt n i’m sure yo’ll get sum great improvement in yo thang. So, lez get started.. ..

(1)Take two pencils, and tape’em together and make sure da points are even.

(2)Hit a light tag on a blank paper(do not put to much pressure on the pencil so that the tag is very light), And make sure that the letters are positioned even (use guide lines if you have to)
You can make it a simple tag, or you can make it a more stylized tag. I’ll say yo should go fo’ a simple tag.

(3)Now get a single and darker pencil (or just use more pressure). and start adding hook ups. try and connect a few letters, arrows pointing in different directions.. n be very creative in adding hookups, but don’ over do it, iight?

(4)Now get a black outliner ( fine point marker). yo can find’em in any art store, stationary, walmart, ect. Now outline all the outer lines of the tag do not outline the inside lines of the tag), and let the ink dry, then erase the pencil.

(5)You may also do sum other shyt like, you can add sum shadow style 3D.
