I have another idea for a book about my grandmother. But to do this, I need to finish my dissertation first. And, more importantly, get over the fear of pissing my family off by being honest and interviewing them about our matriarch who, while an amazing and powerful woman, was also a dirty liar. God love her!

I’d like write an academic book on training to be a Jodo Shinshu minister in America. But I really ought to finish my dissertation first!
