I don’t know why, but I have always wanted a big family. Like 8 children big, not 22… Don’t think I’m silly enough to have that many babies, but I’d like to adopt a stack of kids, school aged kids who get looked past on the adoption queues because they’re too old or whatever. An orphan at 10 or 12 is going to have issues – doesn’t mean they’re not good kids or don’t deserve a family. I think I’d rather have a lot of kids who are otherwise healthy than one or two disabled kids that need a lot of care – although I feel selfish saying that, but hey.

Ok, so sometimes you look like an idiot when you put it all on the line and don’t care if you get rejected! I spent years trying to please, and once I stopped trying to please, and stopped being afraid of being rejected – the most amazing thing happened…. people started seeking my approval, and were concerned that I would reject them. Bizarre, but true. Goodluck!

Australia’s a great country, but I don’t belong here. Not now anyway.
