Flickr is one of those great communities, web-based or otherwise, that comes around very infrequently. It’s a wonderful example of interface design, functionality, and fun. It brings people together around images and ideas in a way that nothing on the web has done before.
And, for me, most importantly, it’s inspired so much photography in me, pushing me to improve.
I really do love Flickr!

I’ve been using Macs since 1986, and while I am envious of folks with their dual-processor Power Mac G5s and Cinema Displays, I’m not sure what I would do without my stylish PowerBook (and its trusty iPod and Treo sidekicks).
Carry around the computing power of a 1950s government. Reference a library that would have made Alexander the Great jealous. Or just watch a DVD….

Hands down, the Treo 600 is the greatest piece of technology I’ve acquired in my life. The combination of phone, Palm, email, SMS, web, always-updated Vindigo, etc. is incredibly powerful. It has saved the day more times than I can count.
Now I’m just wondering how long it will be until I find myself upgrading to the 650....
