I finally started a blog. There’s nothing too exciting there right now, but it’s great to write down random thoughts that I can go back to, and a good way to remember things that happen throughout time—which is getting more difficult as I get older!

I made a beautiful necklace the other day with soldered sterling silver links and gemstones including kyanite, iolite, smoky quartz and amethyst. I was thrilled with it, and definitely felt the thrill of “I made this!” I need to get a business license so I can start buying wholesale, which will greatly reduce some of my costs. I’m feeling confident that I do have the ability to do this.
I’ve written in my gratitude journal every night, and it really feels great to think about the day, and what things, no matter how small, one is grateful for. The other night I was reading and heard some geese honking, getting ready to land near our house. It put a big smile on my face, and I thought, “I need to write that in my journal!” Too often we overlook the beauty of the natural world.
