Well, back in January I noticed that the holidays had deposited some poundage around my midsection. So I decided to start working out more and watching what I eat. So far, its working great, I’m down 14 lbs! I plan to keep it up till I can see my abs, which should be 5-10 more lbs. Having a dog that needs to run everyday sure does help!
Got a dog last month

My girlfriend and I acquired a Jack Russell Terrier puppy last month. He was kind of a hand-me-down, as he had been passed around to 6 families before we got him. Apparently the other families couldn’t handle him, but he’s very calm and affectionate with us. I think we can give him the exercise and attention he needs. Plus, he’s a purebreed, and a really good looking dog. He also has a great personality. Couldn’t be happier with him.
I had wanted to get a shelter dog, but this was a dog in need of a home (we kept him out a shelter in a way), and he was totally free and already had his shots and had been housetrained and fixed when we got him, so it was a good situation all around.
