I just want to put down about 3-4 pallets of brick to make a patio extension off of our back porch. Nothing fancy, just something to put the furniture on so that it’s not on the bare dirt and mud.
I figure if I want to change it later, I’ll just pull up the bricks and put them somewhere else.
My grandfather used to have a bunch of bricks, and every few years, he’d pull them out and moving them somewhere else. How cool is that?

I’m going to build a playground for my son this year. I’ve ordered a swing/slide/playhouse set from Home Depot, and looking forward to it arriving.
My plan is to carve out an area, put railroad ties around the border, fill it up with wood chips, put in the slide/swing/playhouse set, put in a sand box, a club house, and a teeter-totter.
My son is 4 years old, now, so I believe I need to get this built before the summer time so that he can really start to enjoy it sooner rather than later.

Faye and I started putting a fence up around my 20 acres a couple years ago, and subsequently got busy with some other stuff. Well, I have 1300 feet of fencing completed, and another 2200 feet or so left to do.
I’m committed to getting it done this year.
