After thirty one years, Lookout Mountain Flight Park in Chattanooga towed us up fifteen hundred feet into the air and cut us loose. I loved every minute of it. If I could make the time and money available, I’d love to train to do a running launch off the side of the mountain. Hopefully I’ll get to do that before another thirty one years have passed.

This morning I swam a quarter of a mile, cycled twelve miles, ran three more miles, and loved the entire experience. It was tough, and the training was hard, but I’m so glad I’ve done this. I’ll probably do another, but no time soon!
I took the online test back in January and received my email invitation to the in-person audition last week! I think the toughest part of this process will be coming up with the five conversation starters. These are the little bits of information Alex uses during the interviews, and you have to have them at the audition. I’ve still got a few weeks to figure out what’s interesting about me.
