I’m a regular on PostSecret and I’ve always wanted to send in a postcard. I think my secrets are boring compared to the postcards posted on the website but you never know, someone else might get a kick out of it. I’m a nerd, but I always wonder about the people who took the time to send in their secrets and if it gave them any satisfaction.

How I did it: I do this everyday. It is a continuous process and it's different everyday for every situation and every person I encounter. I can't control the attitudes of others but I can control myself and how I allow it to make me feel. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I was cleaning out my room at my parents house and found an old postcard that made me laugh. I figured I had no excuse not send out a secret so I wrote out my secret and away it went. Read how I did it…
How I did it: Luckily my roommate encouraged me to go through with it. It was spontaneous and had to be, or else I wouldn't have done it. I checked out a few tattoo parlors before making my decision and finally laid down and sat through it. I'm so glad I did. Read how I did it…

So this is kind of a funny one. I must sound heartless, I’m in my 20s and yet to have a relationship which I consider to be meaningful? Well, my relationships with people have always ended badly with me wondering, what went wrong. For once, I would like to have a relationship with a better meaning, one that allows me to remember all the positive aspects and what was right about it. I know this will require a lot of effort on my part because it’s not always easy to let people into your life, but I suppose that is why it’s on my list! I’m not searching for a lifelong partner, just something more fulfilling.
Too often I tell myself, “I should have said this, I should have done that”. Should have. Those two words drive me crazy and yet they have somehow manifested themselves into my vocabulary. So maybe if I start telling people what I wanted I just might get it. The worst that could happen is that someone will say ‘No’ and I’ll be back at square one. No one can read my mind, so if I don’t speak up for myself, it’s no one’s fault but mine.
