I was sitting at a red light for a left turn in the middle of the night… and it didn’t make any sense to just sit there anymore when there was nobody around.. so I went through that red light! Hehe. It felt awesome. I am in control of what I do with my life, as a pirate once said, “the code is more what you’d call guidelines than actual rules.” I broke the law. Woops.

How I did it: Weight Watchers all the way. I can eat any food I want as long as I'm willing to budget for it. It's a good life lesson in that sense, makes you think about what you really want and what is worth the "points" . I really recommend weight watchers, it's not a fad diet and you don't have to cut out any food groups. The weight loss is small, but it's real weight loss and a HEALTHY way to lose. I;m still about 6 pounds "overweight" according t… Read how I did it…
How I did it: My boyfriend had taken me climbing several times, but he was always my "belay slave" and never got to actually climb himself. So, I decided to sneakily go out and take aan intro to climbing class. I didn't technically get "certified" but I just have to take a test at whatever gym I go to. A group of us are going climbing on Monday and I can't wait to see his reaction when I offer to belay him and he gets all confused. Hehe, will be awesome. Read how I did it…
How I did it: My boyfriend, sister and I drove up to Whistler one saturday, had a nice lunch, then threw ourselves off a bridge. It was a amazing. My sister was turning 18 and we went tandem together. Crazy shenanigans. Since we were tandem if one chickenned out and the other jumped, gravity would still pull the one who chickenned out off. Therefore, it was best just to jump out of free will! We stepped off the platform- and I screamed the WHOLE way do… Read how I did it…

I want to get a tattoo that says “live the questions now”. Either at the back of my neck in cursive right under my hairline, if it is small enough, or on the side of my ribcage.
I want this saying written because I like to act like a know it all. And when I don’t know the answer to a question… I hit the books. I look up EVERYTHING I can. I will study and analyze ‘til I’ve determined I know what I am talking about, and usually it worked out okay. But lately life has been throwing my curve balls… I’ve been stuck between a rock and a hard place as of late. And I just can’t find the answer to my questions, and I break down. And honestly, they aren’t things that have answers, I’ll only know in retrospect. So all I can do is accept that there are questions that have no answers but continue living a life through these insecurities. Basically, I’m telling myself to lighten up and accept that I will not, now or ever, know everything. No matter how hard I try.
The saying is from a poem…. by Rainer Maria Rilke
I want to beg you,
as much as I can, to be patient
toward all that is unsolved in your heart
and to try to love the questions themselves
like locked rooms and like books
that are written in a very foreign tongue.
Do not seek answers,
which cannot be given you
because you would not be able to live them.
And the point is to live everything.
Live the questions now.
Perhaps you will then gradually,
without noticing it,
live along some distant day into the answer.
I can’t express how easy it is to give blood. An hour of your time and you can be saving lives. Plus you get cookies. Perks. Always perks. ;) But seriously, why not? If you do not have time to volunteer this is the perfect way to give back and help others out. Who knows, one day you might be the one who needs help. If you can expect to receive when you’re in need, then you should donate to help those who may one day help you. Truly, worth the prick.
