I moved from Orange County to Los Angeles, where I’ve been joining new activities and meeting lots of different kinds of people. Joining Meetup.com was also helpful because I found groups of people who shared my interests. Very cool.

How I did it: Now that I moved up to L.A., everything is easier. They offer free yoga in Runyon Canyon Park, so I've been attending those and donating a buck each time. It's also really nice to be outside -- even though it's on an incline and kinda bumpy. Read how I did it…

I’m perfectly happy with my existing friends. Except. Now that I’m the only one who’s single, I don’t have anyone to go do normal single-girl things. Which means I’ll ALWAYS be single, since I work from home. I want to create more opportunities to be “out in the world” and meet people.
