I now use Linux every day on my file server. I got away from Microsoft entirely by switching to Mac OS X Leopard. I’m loving my MacBook, and will probably never use another windows machine again.

Contests with a deadline help a lot here. The 3 day novel writing contest is how I completed my first novel. It was rough, but definitely worth it. For those who don’t have the stamina for that, there’s always National Novel Writers Month

I try to learn something new everyday. It’s an easy goal to accomplish too. Fifteen minutes with stumbleupon, and I can learn quite a bit.
