so my new routine… I am not quite a couch potato…but i been trying a reccomended workout routine that a friend has told me about
so here it goes….
week 1 – 5 min. warmup walk, then alternate between a 1 minute run and a 1:30 minute cool down for 15 minutes.
Week 2- 5 min. warmup, then alternate between a 1:30 min. run and a 1 min. cooldown for 15 minutes…
Week 3 – 5 min warmup, and then a 2 minute run with 1 min. cool downs for 15 minutes.
Week 4 same as week 3 but for 20 minutes
i am at week four… 10 pounds, 20 more to lose….

it’s been kinda hard… I’ve been in DC a lil over a yr. and i have a strong core of good friends so far, but i’ve known them since my arrival…
so this summer, i did meet 5 other new ppl. to be cool with and that have similar interests as I do.
2 co-workers that i never really interacted with outside of work came to hang with me this summer on a couple of occasions..
I still am short 3 people…well i do have until september 21 right?

Rice, some marinated chicken, mixed veggies and some pineapples make a pretty good stir-fry.
my next recipe will be ginger-lime chicken w/ a lite glaze… I’m experimenting but i’ll let you know how it turns out…
