Work on my secret project (read all 2 entries…)
My Secret Project is not-so-secret anymore! 15 months ago

So basically my secret project was to leave my 9-to-5 job and start up my business officially full-time. The company is called “iEMBARQ” (phonetically pronounced ‘eye embark’).

Well, I left my job back in mid April of this year and it’s been a slow but steady start to the new business!

You can check it out at http://www.iEMBARQ.com – The full site goes live this coming Monday, but you can see the teaser trailer now.

Our target clientele ranges from Small through Large Businesses as well as anyone using a computer at home. We are based in Florida but we have customers peppered throughout the States, so delivering projects remotely is not an issue.

Here’s a list of what my new company, iEMBARQ, offers:
.Web Design
.Web Hosting
.E-Commerce Solutions
.Search Engine Submission, Optimization, Marketing
.Social-Network Marketing
.Cost-Savings and Project Management Methodologies
.Strategic Systems Design
.Graphics and Logo Design
.and more!

We offer a “Net 10%” for any referral. Here’s an example: You refer someone and their project costs $550. Our external expense for the project is $50 leaving a Net Project Value of $500. You receive $50 (10% of $500).

In any event, thanks for taking the time to read this and if you have any questions, my information is below.

Kind Regards,

Domenic

Start my own business (read all 2 entries…)
annnnd Launch! 17 months ago

Well, I finally left my 9 to 5 job in Corporate-America (in mid-April of this year) to pursue my own business. It has been an incredible start and long overdue.

At first, I was an emotional cocktail of confidence, energy and determination (mixed in with a bit of fear). But as time has progressed and I stuck to my plan, this has proven to be the best business decision I have made to-date.

Through a fortunate series of events, one of my clients is Randy Moss (from the New England Patriots).

My company provides Web Design, Web Hosting, Cost Savings Initiatives and other Information Technology/Business Improvement Processes.

run a 5k
Started training 20 months ago

Started running again, but the first two times i was using my beat-up 2 year old running shoes – so now I have shin-splints. Dammit! But, with a week of rest and my brand new kicks – I should be good to go! I am really looking forward to running daily again!
