How I did it: My friend moved out to Arizona after her divorce. She was very distant during the time she was having relationship issues but I didn't take it personally and I tried to be there for her in any way I could. How I did it: I worked in critical care for over eight years. Got certified in critical care and built up my resume with good clinical experience, committee participation, volunteer work, etc. Obtained recommendations from supervisors, wrote a personal essay, and filled out applications. Sent them in and prayed for an interview. A few schools interviewed me. I prepared for the interviews and gave them my all. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I made time to read and I carried my books with me so if I was waiting in a doctor's office or riding the train, etc. I would pass the time by reading. My original plan was to read one book a month, but some months were busier than others and I didn't always finish on time, but in the end, I managed to read 12 books! (Which is a lot for me!)
