How I did it: After completing the Warrior Dash, I couldn't wait to finish another mud run. They're so addicting. They make you feel like a kid all over again. This time I recruited a team and we all dressed alike for the race. The obstacles in Rugged Maniac were nothing like they had advertised on the website, which was disappointing, because they charge an arm & a leg to participate in these races. There wasn't even a mud pit on the course!!! But… Read how I did it…
How I did it: I've always wanted to visit Salt Lake City for some reason. I think I just liked the sound of it or the idea of some great big salty lake. I had the opportunity to go there for a yoga conference in October. I had a few days before the conference to do some sightseeing. How I did it: I haven't done a race in years due to hip problems, but I've always wanted to participate in a mud run. I heard about the Warrior Dash through a friend and decided to just sign myself up. If I couldn't run, I'd walk, and somehow find my way across the finish line.
