I finally made a decision and bought a Canon A620. So far I really like it. Since I am avoiding Sony whereever I can, that ruled them out for new camera. I previously had a Sony DSC-P1 which I used for 5 years.

Get at least 512 MB RAM, however 1024 MB is better. They should not be allowed to sell them with only 256 MB. It really is a different computer with lots of RAM. Click Here
