I don’t mean this only in the physical sense, but since those are the most obvious flaws I guess I can start there. I always hear people give this kind of advice, to focus on your strengths and try to enhance those rather than spending so much time dwelling on your faults. I mean, I think it is probably worthwhile to try and improve upon your faults as well, to a certain extent, but there is only so much one can do without going to extreme measures like plastic surgery or something.
anyway.
So, what are my best physical features? In the past, I’ve always said it’s my hair. It’s been long and red and pretty and it sets me apart from most of the rest of the world. Only like 3% of the population are natural redheads. Well, at the moment I’m growing out a terrible haircut and my hair is a really bad color while I’m growing out the highlights, too. But I think there is still potential for it to be my best feature, with a little more time and extra care.
As for my flaws….I can’t help but feel like it’s everything else. I’ve got bad skin, bad teeth, fat arms and stick legs, no boobs, etc. You get the picture. I do what I can to improve everything else, but ultimately I just have to accept that I am never going to be a pretty girl.
But I can be the plain girl with pretty hair, and that’s not the worst thing in the world.
