I'm doing 38 things
1. I am beautiful!
It may sound strange, but once I shaved my head I felt more confident in my beauty. I realize that beauty is about more that a length of hair.
2. People stare at anything.
If you shave your head and you are a woman you will receive lots of stares. Just take it in-stride. They are probably thinking:
1.that they wished they had the balls (or lady balls) to shave their head. 2. that your a skinhead. 3. that you have cancer. 4. that you are supporting someone with a disease. So they are staring at you because you are a badass!
3. Hair keeps your head warm.
You don’t appreciate something till its gone. My collection of hats and ear warmers has multiplied since I shaved my head. I have an unhealthy obsession with warm headgear. you will understand.
4. I am not going to do it again.
Shaving my head was something I wanted to do. But now that I have done it, I know I don’t need to do it again.
Bottom-line: if you want to do it take the leap and shave your head. You will find out things about yourself and others. Plus if you absolutely hate it, hair grows back.
