by the group Toto.
I don’t recall ever hearing Toto’s recording of this but I have heard some pretty marvelous a Cappella performances of it. This one by Perpetuum Jazzile is especially fabulous.

How I did it: Practice, trying new approaches, posting questions to the administrators and/or other members. All that has given me a pretty good operational understanding of how this site works. It has taken time to discern just all the ins and outs of it and learn experientially just what happens when I do something. It has changed over time too, so I have adjusted my understanding at times too. I expect it to continue to change and perhaps learn a poi… Read how I did it…
How I did it: Do a centering exercise if necessary, then check in with myself about the choice I am about to make. Sometimes I use an Ignatian technique I learned where I come to a point of indifference. Its been quite a while since I needed to do that but the times I have its amazing how powerful it is. How I did it: Followed the tapping instructions, 3 times per day for several weeks. I was impressed with the stories I heard about it producing dramatic results. I never got that or even close to it. Read how I did it…

from the musical I do, I do. I have known this song for most of my adult life and find it both moving, inspiring and romantic. The harmony is just a little more complex than the average love song, which gives it a little spice and adds to the overall effect.
from Les Miserables. Music is by Claude-Michel Schonberg, lyrics by Herbert Kretzmer.
I don’t fully grasp what it is about this song that moves me so. I believe its a combination of the powerful harmonic progression, the passionate and moving lyrical line and the way this song fits into the moving and inspirational story of Les Miserables.
