I made a half-hearted effort to become a delegate for Barack Obmama (which was more about learning about the process), but ended up going to Denver as a member of the media.

Dropping it down to 25...

I decided to drop my goal down by half to 25 work units in order to make the goal more achievable. I’ll probably take another shot at the original 50 once I finish this goal.
I’m up to 10 units at the moment.
I Converted A Couple Tapes But...

I managed to figure out a pretty ghetto way to do this a little while back by running a line from a cassette (or record) player’s headphone jack to the line in jack (NOT the microphone jack, though it would probably work) on my computer and recording it using Audacity or Adobe Audition.
I’d only recommend doing it if the recording is rare or has sentimental value. A tape or record isn’t going to have great sound quality to start with and it’s going to get a lot worse as you re-record it and encode the files.
