its beginning to be a pink floyd kinda wall. Certifications, degrees, past employment and still looking for satisfaction.
The more I know the less anyone wants me to do anything. Words like overqualified, too expensive, i don’t think you would be happy doing such menial tasks. These are all code words for nah I don’t want to have lunch with you regularly. Still i just keep tooling along adding certs to the WALL. how can you have a job without any certs? how can you have any certs without a job?

didn’t ever use the darn thing after i got a postdoc five years of unemployment later. still they may not give me a job but i they can’t take away the title or the publications

In case you haven’t heard, everyone left Europe to come to America almost 100 years ago. Why would anyone, in their right mind, want to go back?
However, if you are going off-continent and soon to Mexico and Canada bring your passport; cuz just because they take visa’s doesn’t mean you don’t need a passport to get back into the good ole USA
