How I did it: Research, particularly on exactly what name I wanted. I struggled to find one that "fit", so it took me about 2 years to decide on the name itself. The basic steps I took after this were: 1. print off form from BDM website. 2. Fill out the form.3. Sign the form in front of a justice of the peace.4. Post form including credit card details to BDM.5. Await new birth certificate. Oh, and tell people. This cost was NZ$160 which includ… Read how I did it…
How I did it: a friend and i decided to go bungee jumping. the nearest bungee was a couple of hours away from our house so we went the following week when we had free time. we drove to the bungee, paid, got strapped up, threw ourselves off the bridge and swung around upside down until the boat picked us up. it was awesome!! How I did it: this probably won't work for guys unless they are ok with wearing nail polish. for the first couple of weeks i started by painting my nails (clear polish) so that instead of mindlessly biting my nails i would mindlessly scratch the nail polish off with my teeth. then i just had fun with my nails and bought a ton of nail polish in different colours. now i keep my nails a little longer than the tips of my finge… Read how I did it…

i have a lot of stuff to throw away. i’ve never done a complete overhaul of my stuff, i’ve lived in several different cities and each time i’ve moved i’ve just packed it all up and taken everything with me. oh no, one time not all of my stuff could fit in the truck, so i left a couple pieces of cheap furniture behind. i’m not worried about kitchen stuff, or living room stuff. its mostly the collection of utter crap that accumulates in my bedroom and office area. i often hang on to sentimental stuff that serves no purpose other than as a reminder of a past event. i have a lot of stuff, papers and books mostly, that i would love to throw away but its for university so i need to hang on to it until i’ve completed my degree. i have a lot of “business-casual” office clothes for work that are too dressy to wear around the house, too office-y to wear out on the town or to parties, but not corporate enough for my intended next job. i am intending to work for a specific company, which provides a corporate uniform, so I could then throw away the bulk of my clothes. I may well throw away some hobby items that can be easily replaced in the future when I take up those hobbies again. I guess one thing is that I don’t want to throw away anything that I think I would want to use again, as i don’t want to have to re-purchase something later on. I think I need to overcome this worry too. I have a normal amount of stuff compared with my friends, the only things I have more of are books and cds, which to me are valuable and I will keep, but i do have various keepsakes that other than being sentimental are just junk.
