At work today, some coworkers invited me to take turns running up the stairwell with them. We’d go one after another, every half hour. I jogged up three of the four flights each time since heights scare the heck out of me and you can see all the way down. I’m scheduled to start working with a personal trainer once a week soon!!

How I did it: I knew his mother's name so I searched it. On one site, it had her approximate location and age, which helped me confirm it was her. I found him listed as her son. Then, I searched his name. Eventually, it occurred to me to search him on social networking sites. I found him on one of these sites and, after much contemplation and a long time, emailed him. After awhile, we traded phone numbers and talk occasionally. I would love to meet him… Read how I did it…
I recently discovered I have a half brother from a brief relationship my father had 25 years ago. For 10 years, the case details have been sitting on the WI court system website, and I cannot believe I never checked my father’s name before. Talk about shock! At least he didn’t cheat on my mother, as previously thought. He lives across the country and I found him on MySpace but how ridiculous would it be to write him through there!? He might not even know our father’s name, and I know if someone sent me a message saying they were my sister, I’d flip. Any suggestions? Send them my way!
