Spent 3 months there about 20 years ago. Fantastic. People are great. Countryside is gorgeous and varied. I’d suggest getting out of Copenhagen and making it over to Jutland, where there is a lot of beautiful land and small towns of interest. Great concert hall in Fredricia.
This guy is so over the top. I heard him interviewed on NPR last year and he just sounded like a really nice guy. Married to the same woman for 30 years, two grown kids who work with him, etc. But his music is so retro I love it! Appeals to my inner lounge lizard. I gotta find out when he’s doing another show soon.
How do you know when you accomplish this? I mean, I don’t expect that I’ll ever be the kind of person to get up in the morning and pinch my cheeks and kiss my image in the mirror. For one thing, I’m not a morning person! :-)
