at 110 pounds, and a decent figure, the point of this is not to lose weight. it’s about me being ashamed of getting out of breath walking upstairs. I used to play soccer pretty seriously, so i know how good it feels to be in shape, and i want to get back to that.
okay, that said.
yesterday i went out with my stopwatch and ran nonstop for 10 min and 21 sec. The goal was to run for 10 min continuously, but i was running in a down and back kinda fashion, if that makes sense so I ran for five minutes and then turned around and came back, and of course I was slower on the way back. I should’ve seen that coming.
Anyway, I did it, I thought I was going to die, really I did, I collapsed and didn’t get up for a while, today my legs hurt and I feel shitty, but the point is I did it and I didn’t stop.
I can’t run tonight because I have to give my sister a ride then go to work, but possibly tomorrow I’ll give it another shot. I’ll try to run for 12 min nonstop maybe. and if I do survive, some crunches and pushups.
