On Saturday, I completed a half-marathon. Just missed my secondary goal of finishing in less than 3 hours (3:00:55) but since my primary goal was completing upright and without injury, I’m happy. Now, on to the next (not yet chosen), with a 2:45 goal.

My marathon training and my friends’ support is resulting in my working out 4 to 6 days a week! All I had to do is reach out and ask. Now we run/walk and talk the whole time—mental and physical therapy combined. Highly recommended!
PROGRESS!

So, finshed the 5K in June, the training’s going great (using the Galloway method-check it out!: http://www.jeffgalloway.com/index.html )
and my mile time improved by 1:15 over what it was 4 weeks ago! Completed a 10-mile training run/walk on Saturday, and it felt wonderful! I’m finally believing in endorphins!
