My room is now clean enough that I can begin the sorting process. Lots of purging—and LOTS of dust!! My goal next weekend is to begin to tackle the closet.

Okay—since first writing this, I have walked six days per week, every week!! I am very pleased with my continued commitment to doing this. I have been able to do a minimum of 15 minutes, but usually closer to 30 minutes each time. :))

My checkbook is balanced, and I am collecting my monthly bills. I have my plan set in my mind: following advice given by someone here, I am going to pay off a small bill as soon as possible, while maintaining minimum payments on other bills. Once a bill is paid off, I will put its amount onto the next bill to be paid off. I will just keep chipping away at it, bit by bit. All while holding down any further credit card spending. We can do this!!
