Well since I added this goal so long ago.. I’ve seen Movin’ Out, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Wicked, and The Drowsy Chaperone. I loved them all. It’s been a while since I’ve seen something (finances are tight), but I think my next goal is to try student rushing. Anyone ever done that??
I really want to see Mary Poppins or The Little Mermaid.

Went down to Slidel with Operation Blessing (A great organization- check them out!) spring break of last year. An amazing and unforgettable experience. I really hope I’ll be able to go again. It feels like we should talk about Katrina more these days because everyone has seemed to forget. And things are still not great down there..
As part of a educational college course, I traveled to Peru in January 2008 to study the educational system and it’s crisises. I worked in a preschool for two weeks and it blew me away. I never could have imagined children could have been so happy with so little. Now, with the help of friend who also went, we have founded a club on our campus to help these children and their school. The Armatambo Sustainability Mission is dedicated to providing food, clothing and age and developmentally appropriate toys and supplies to the children of La Cuna Jardin Armatambo. It’s our mission to open people’s eyes and hearts to troubles faced by these young children. If you are interested in learning more or donating to our cause- please contact me!
