BOOYAH!
I got made redundant at my old job. I got a redundancy payout, with which I paid off one debt, two credit cards (and ALMOST paid off a third), AND got a holiday to Melbourne.
I’m still paying off a car loan so it’ll be awhile before I’m totally debt-free, but I’m closer now than I’ve ever been before!
I just paid off one of my credit cards =) =) =)
It was $1000, and now it’s gone! Hurrah!
Now only 3 more to go…..
..but I’m very, very close.
I’ve had 3 glycolic peels, one alpha-beta peel and one microdermabrasion treatment, and my skin is AMAZING. It’s still not perfect but considering the way it used to look, it’s awesome.
I’m mostly treating the scarring now by getting a few more micro treatments..
Good lord, including the skin products i’ve had to buy, this has cost me $655 in the last 2 months. Damn you, bad genes!
I’ve had mine for almost 8 years now, and its really starting to grow out. I’m so used to having it, i think my tummy will look weird without it…but i can’t remember if it hurt or not, and i’m too much of a sook to get it done again!
i lost 2 kilos! which is actually a fair bit considering i’m not really overweight
so i’m pretty chuffed =D
i just did 6km..weew!
Granted, it took me an hour and, well, i walked half of it, but STILL i did it. _
So i got my first pay from my second job last week. They pay fortnightly which is a bit of a bummer, but aaanywho, it did make a pretty big difference.
I only get 10 bucks an hour after tax (you get taxed a buttload on a second job) but i still managed to pay an extra hundred bucks on my credit card that week, which is huge considering i normall only pay off $50 a month. I want to have my $500 credit card paid off by christmas.
10 weeks and counting…
I’ve started Slimplicity, the diet thingo at my gym. i want to lose 10kg, and i exercise like 3 or 4 times a week and have a personal trainer, sooooo this diet deely should help me get there.
I have my first week meeting on tuesday..weew!
So last night I had my first Slimplicity meeting, i weighed 75.3kg.
I want to get down to 70 by the end (I’m doing it for 12 weeks) so that should be totally do-able.
So first day of eating properly, its going well!
I actually want to lose 10kg…i think thats about 20 pounds..who knows. Anywho, I’m starting Slimplicity, which is like the diet/nutrition program at my gym. I’m signing up for 20 weeks which is about the time it should take me to lose 10kg.
For like the last 5 years I’ve been on diets, lost weight, gained weight, cut out carbs, cut out fat, worked out, done dancing, and I’m so over just going up and down. I need something I can sustain long term so I can just stop all this diet nonsense!
I’m starting a little herb garden =D
I planted my coriander yesterday and i’m gonna buy some more herbs this week _
Well this is going pretty well so far
at least in the exercise area. i did more than 4 hours exercise last week! (This is huge for the girl who couldn’t even run until a few months ago)
Still need to work on the food part though…even though I KNOW i don’t want to eat a Cherry Ripe or have a latte, i still do. GAH! But still, def doing a lot better than normal.
