I’m in Region 6, and have attended quartet roundups but with no luck as far as me being able to get into a quartet. Circumstances just working against me.

I think it would be neat to learn to ride horseback. I have been wanting to try it for some time. My sister in law has worked training horses. She is now training a 5 month old colt.

I too am a drummer who happens to love jazz. That’s my main focus of my jazz gigs. I also play a mean dixieland washboard and have been playing since 1981. I have had gigs where people tend to slow down. It’s terribly frustrating to me to get solos which are musical enough. It just seems so easy to get those great drum ideas moving when I listen to greats such as Art Blakey and Joe Jones, but when it comes to me soloing, that’s definitely where I need work!!
