How I did it: I literally filled out an application the week after my ex & I broke up. I had been procrastinating for YEARS and already had 2 pics for my passport. I enclosed my old passport & sent it off & got it back THREE WEEKS LATER! Definitely worth it! Read how I did it…
How I did it: There is no way that I can sum up 15 years in this little box. All that I can say is that if you want it, go get it. Don't let anything stop you. I changed my major 3 times. I asked lots of questions. I sat in the front of every class. I did my homework & stayed up LATE working on papers...sometimes sleeping for an hour in a 24 - 48 hour period & sometimes not at all. Read how I did it…
I didn’t do the big chop…didn’t have the heart. My stylist periodically trimmed my hair and now I have maybe about an inch of permed hair on my ends. He says that I’m “claimably” natural (i.e go on & tell folks now—I already had). There are SO many resources online…too many to list here but check out:

In a previous post, I mentioned going to Dominican salons… they’re better if you have more perm than natural hair. Dominican stylists are rough with hair and natural hair needs to be treated very gently. With all the heat & woman-handling, it’s way too much.
