We traveled once around the globe, westbound, with our family of four (two kids, aged 10 and 6 at the time). Starting from Portland, OR, we headed to San Francisco, CA, on to the west shore of Oahu, HI for three weeks, then to Sydney, AUS for two weeks, up to Bellingen, AUS for 5 weeks, back down to Sydney for 3 weeks, on to Chiang Mai, Thailand for 6 weeks, then to Egypt for 3 weeks, London for several days before NYC and then back home. A wonderful experience for all about 5.5 months in total.

We have decided to sell both our cars instead of getting a biodiesel. We will get around on public transport, bikes, and flexcar.
I have been a juggler for years but never learned the unicycle. I decided to try about a year ago after my 9 year old Son managed to ride one. It tooks a while (about 15 hours of work) but I am pretty stable now. I did manage to seriously sprain my wrist about 6 months ago falling while going down a bumpy hill. Since then I have stuck with smoother terrain.
