The pile of paintings and photos in my closet that I’ve acquired over the years has been an ongoing nag disrupting my inner peace. I’d like to modify my “clean and simple” decorating scheme and go for a more cluttered scheme, filling my walls full of these beautiful works that have been hiding in the dark.

I ordered copies of my SAT and ACT scores since those were easy enough to obtain, and confirmed I met the thresholds for membership according to those tests. If someone asks me for something and I'm going to provide them with assistance, I find out not just what they literally say they want, but what they really need. They're coming to me because they don't have the skills do the job themselves, and part of the … Read how I did it…
How I did it: I looked at the budget, got support from my spouse, and figured out what I needed to do to pursue being my own boss instead of workin' for the man! I'm doing a little contracting, and exploring potential new projects and products, including working on the designs for several new jewelry lines, launching a blog and podcast with my best friend, and spending a little time every day involved in a creative activity such as painting or writing. My goal is also to blog regularly, at least once a day, and keep up my photo galleries and photo blog. While anything is excess is a bad thing, spending 15 to 30 minutes a day indulging in creative writing (blogging, journaling, working on that novel) is a healthy practice.
