Our church has a process that moves men in and out of the elder group in 2 year increments. I am presently the chairperson of our congregation…and I’ll probably be an elder again, but you don’t ever stop being a servant of Jesus Christ—however He chooses to use me, I’ll serve Him!

of our most recent years we’ve made AYP. Obviously we’re still working to make it an annual thing, but we’re very proud to have Jackson High School make progress and be a great school for our students to attend!

Like seeing an old friend move away, Lucky Jack Aubrey and Dr. Stephen Maturin sailed for the Magellan Strait yesterday morning as I closed the cover of “Blue at the Mizzen,” and I’m now left to imagine what kind of an admiral Jack will make. What a wonderful series of books; fallible, believable characters who lived wonderful, exciting, engaging lives. I highly recommend this series of books to any readers seeking a great escapist, believable series to read..
