I’ve signed up for my first marathon, the Outer Banks Marathon on November 8, 2009. I’m also raising money for the Ronald McDonald House of Durham, NC.

How I did it
How I did it: I've been running (again) for a couple of years, but signed up to train with a local Galloway group, and that helped a lot. We met to train together on Saturdays for progressively longer long runs, using the run-walk-run method. Read how I did it…
Recent entries
I’ve been training since May for a half marathon on November 2. My long runs (actually a run/walk combo right now) are up to 10-milers.
I recently bought a book to teach myself Hebrew. The first chapter went well, but I need to keep with it.
