As a sci-fi/comic convention goer for nearly 20 years, I would say this is the pick of the litter. Good luck getting into the “big rooms” when stars like Angelina Jolie and Kate Beckinsale show up. Star factor aside, you’re likely to have more fun carousing through the dealers room and seeing how artists work. More than just a comic-con, SD Comic Con has become a Hollywood blockbuster preview magnet, a gaming con, a film festival, an art show, and naturally, a dealers ball.
