well, it was a very time consuming process, and in the end, it was more fun then useful. the only practical reason i had in my head for doing it was in case something happened to my right hand one day incapacitating me from being able to write with it. or, more unrealistically, i had envisions somehow being able to write with both hands at once, thus doubling my writing speed…but it’s harder to actually do it than it is to daydream about doing it.

athy was my word for mental blocks to things i just couldn’t do. like studying for another hour when i’m really tired. the solution was to just let go, accept that i can’t do everything in a day, and take things one at a time. no more trying to do impossible things, no more mental blocks, and off i go to the land of productivity.

even if i do get to bed early, which i sometimes accomplish, it’s useless because i don’t have control over when i fall asleep. so for now, going to bed around 12-ish is the only way to ensure i don’t get bored lying in bed for 2 hours
