Our depature date: 2007/09/01!
Unfortunately I cannot do it this year; I’m already out of leave and money because I’m doing a tour in China. I think is an amazing experience!
I now have all the necessary kit to do this, will lead my first route this week! (I only top-roped before)
Booked and paid my deposit, will visit China in April for about 20 days! Can’t wait!
Tried it once in Mozambique but got stung by a bunch of jellyfish before I even got to the waves ;)
I just checked my heart rate monitor and it was on 1670km! I started counting 24 Aug 2004 so it’s almost a year! I’m a mountain biker, so most of the kilos is off road (I did a lot of training for a 3 day staged event called Sani2C in South Africa that was alone almost 300km) Definitely worth it. I feel great and saw a lot of my beautiful country!
I did it by chance when I went on my first dive in Sodwana, South Africa. I hear it is now against the law to swim with dolphins in South Africa… I swam with dolphins again on my last diving trip to Mozambique – Ponta do Ouro. Definitely worth it!
I did it for my honours degree. If I look back now it was definitely worth it but while I was busy with my paper it was pure hell! You can never just relax, you feel a constant nagging that you must go and work on the paper.
Every golfers dream… I believe that with more practice the better your chances!
I did it a few times with by buddies but never got into it. Will love to be a competent climber!
The Comrades Marathon is a South African ultramarathon run over a distance of approximately 90 km. My goal is o run this prestigious marathon when I’m 30 (I got another five years left to practice ;). I will start by buying some decent running shoes this year and start doing some fun runs!
After I bought my DSLR, I visited a lot of photography websites and started to publish my photos on photosig: http://www.photosig.com/go/users/view?id=123539. Amazing how much you can learn in a year!
