I grew up looking at the stars with my folks and my dad pointing out the constellations. It seems in todays world it is harder to find the time to do this. We now make a tradition of devoting at least a couple summer nights to laying in the grass as a family watching the stars come out and looking at the constellations. There are some great kids constellation books (and we have several) and adult gadgets to help you out.

How I did it: I found some Sara Ivanhoe dvds that do 20 min yoga instruction. I committed myself for a week or two and now I do 20 min 5 days a week! I feel so much better when I do do it that it makes it worthwhile to put forth the effort. Now I want to do more.... Read how I did it…
I live within 10 miles of an awesome one – every year kept saying I wanted to go but never made it happen til my son joined cub scouts and his troop went lol – but then the troop didn’t go cuz of possible thunderstorms – but we did – was awesome great pattern, scary music (near hallowen) and windy enough to make the corn rustle (children of the corn always comes to mind)
highly recommended for anyone needing a mini adventure!
we managed to pay off half our debt – that is pretty exciting in my book…. now if we can keep with the progress and not slide on that slippery slope
