I actually took the books and things I packed up to the Salvation Army truck. Got back home and still have more to pack up. It is amazing how much I have kept….things that I have not even touched in years…sitting on a shelf in a closet..a closet that I thought I had organized..by simply putting up shelves…it was just a way to stash the stuff!!!

Something about talking to old friends about the things that I want to do, such as getting rid of stuff, and finding this site gave me a jump start….just hope the engine keeps on plugging along. Today I got rid of quite a bit of “stuff”.
Lots of books are downstairs and I better take them to the Salvation Army tomorrow..they can’t sit downstairs for days. My usual MO. I threw away things that are not needed, and not by anyone else either. As I look at the pile of things downstairs I think, “Could I imagine bringing all that back upstairs and putting it back??” No!! It just feels better, but it is only a dent..I just need to keep plugging along.
I have been to several plays yet it seems to go in spurts. I want to make a plan to see at least one each season.
