I’ve decided to catch the train to work instead of driving in… and since it’s about a 45 minute ride, it’s a great time to do some craft! This week and last I have been knitting a scarf out of the nicest grey wool for my boyfriend (even though we are heading into a hot, hot Australian summer hehe)... it’s so fun, I get lost in knitting so easily. I love the repetitive movements, it’s like playing scales on the piano. So relaxing.
Also I got my mum to teach me some basic crocheting skills the other night, so now i’m making flowers as little embellishments, hair clips, and maybe soon I’ll crochet something as a little pendent for a necklace.
That’s the other thing that I love about knitting and crocheting, you can do other stuff at the same time. Like watch tv, or talk to people, or sit outside, on the grass, having a picnic. I like that you don’t have to be somewhere specific to do it. It’s so easy to pick up and put down at any time, so there are no excuses!
Yay for craft. Hope you are all keeping it up!!
(sorry for the long post :P)

How I did it: I was never really thatttt overweight, at my heaviest I was 68kg, and now I'm at 58kg (I'm 5"9'). But I was not comfortable with my body when I was bigger.I was eating a lot of crap and as much of it as I could possibly fit in my stomach.I decided to change something. First, I started with the lemon detox diet, only for 5 days, because I was impatient. It helped me lose 3kg that I kept off, and that little bit of weight loss was enou… Read how I did it…
How I did it: i met my now boyfriend three years ago, and their was an immediate attraction. our friendship after our meeting was an intense rollercoaster ride. we would be extremely close for about 6 months, basically a couple just without the label, telling eachother all of our secrets and seeing eachother all the time... and then we would not speak to eachother for another 6 months. i guess we were young and shy and scared. but i… Read how I did it…
Current weight = 58kg
Goal weight = 56kg (just under 125 pounds)
Not long to go! I’ve lost 10kg already so I know I can do this. I’ve come too far to give up now.
Going to start going to the gym at least 4 times a week, and I’ll continue my eating habits as they are (about 1000-1200 cal a day)...
So since I haven’t been doing any exercise, I think that this change in activity level will certainly bring about a 2kg loss! YAAAAAY!
When I get to my goal weight and stay there for a week or two… I’m going to go and get my tattoo, as a little present to myself for being skinny :D
Good luck everyone, YOU CAN DO IT!
i think pilates will help with this.
i’m losing weight but it seems to be coming off mostly on my waist and hips, but they are fine as they are, i would much rather the weight come off my thighs and arms!
