I really really REALLY want to do this. I need to do this. But when you have more money going out than you have coming in then you’re kind of stuck. Things need paid. I took 6 months off from working to take care of my son, and I let bills go that have to be caught up. We needed a new car…we got used and got a great deal, but taxes have to be paid, titles changed over, inspections passes, tags purchased…that’s just one thing! I just pray to God I can stay sane and keep my faith in Him and the world right now. I used to be so optimistic…something’s gotta give.

Aside from the fact that you will save money making your own stuff at home, dinner parties are a blast! I have also found cooking to be one of my favorite stress relievers, too! And with all of the lower calorie alternatives there are these days, you can make those things you crave that are SO bad for you into something just as tasty without the guilt! There is no age limit, it can be something fun for the whole family to do (great to teach kids measurements and counting, too) and fun! I would love to be able to cook more at home, but with my living situation right now it’s not the stress-free deal it used to be…just waiting on my own place for now! I have tons of great recipes (healthy and not so healthy) that I would love to share if anyone wants!
If you are not going at least a little more often than normal it means that you have been dehydrated, but once your body is properly hydrated you will be using the restroom more often. I wrote more about this under “drink more water” on my I’ve done this.
