Just signed up to do this one with a friend! I am planning on run/walking this as I am not in good enough shape to run the entire thing yet but I am psyched all the same! This has been a fitness goal of mine for a long time!

Wow! This backpacking trip was awesome! It was challenging without being too challenging and oh so picturesque. My backpacking buddy and I completed this in 5 days/4 nights with only hiking approx. 2 miles to our first campsite on the first day. Our longest day was 12.8 miles on Day 4 and besides being VERY tired after that day we finished strong. I would highly recommend this trip, the terrain was varied with some sand backpacking (very challenging!) and a decent amount of elevation change. Make sure you bring a camera with a big memory card or lots of film, you’ll need it!
Going to do this next week!

A friend and I are leaving next week, Sept. 25 to conquer this goal. 42 miles in 4 days here I come! I hear this hike is beautiful!
