one day you wake up and you realize that not only are problems, frustrations, and all bad things fleeting – but so is life. it is when you fully grasp the fact that life is fleeting that you will finally find happiness, or at least that’s when i found mine.
happiness is a plateau. after a while one also comes to discover that sometimes a “bad” thing, or a struggle, will flower into further joy.
similar to becoming good in a sport (such as yoga), life requires practice. and practice comes in the form of trouble.

i was phobic of needles at the time (literally – hyperventilation, tears, you name it) but i went thru with a small tattoo on my foot. i was so freaked out in the beginning, as the artist started i had my nails clawed into my friend’s arm.. then i realized it wasn’t so bad. i was able to laugh and take pictures. i actually enjoyed the experience and the endorphins you get when its over (from the rush) aren’t half bad either. :) it’s a different feeling than a pinch, like a lot of people equate getting a tattoo to – i thought it was more like someone was drawing a picture on my foot with a pencil and pushing really hard.. but the picture looked cool, so i wasn’t complaining. didn’t look / seem / feel like a needle.
check out my tattoo artist’s face in the picture i loaded. if he can get stripes on his cheek, i’m pretty sure you can do whatever you want as well.
