After looking through prices on the internet for kayaks, I have made up my mind that I will need to buy a used one. Brand new kayaks can easily go for 1,000.00 and I just don’t have that kinda dough. I love to kayak but I am just not at a pro kayak level yet by any means. It would just be a leisure activity around here in the summertime so I will not need anything too fancy. I will just need to shop around more before purchasing.
O.K. I know that this is going to be a long term goal. I now have Rosetta Stone to help me out so this shouldn’t be too hard since spanish is an easier language to learn than most.
Found a recipe for making egg bagels. Yum, Yum, Yum. This will be my first try and I will set this goal for this weekend. I hope they turn out O.K.
I first of all want to say that I am stunned that I am the only one in the 43 things community that has this on their to do list. Oh well, maybe I am the only one that has dreams about going here. This one on my list is going to take a bit of convincing the husband to take me here. Mt. St. Helens is only 120 miles from where I live so I have just got to see this natural wonder. The experts say that the best time to visit is July-September so I have missed the season for this year but plan on going next year. I am excited for this one as it should be a fun day of adventure, hiking, and exploring.
What a deal! Redhook is very close to where I live and my husband and I will go next weekend on a tour there. Here is what you get for a $1.00 per person.

It will be a while yet before my husband and I invest in an electric car. We currently have a very economically and environmentally sound car that runs real well but would love to get rid of the gas bill altogether. I hope by the time we are ready to buy that prices on these vehicles go down and that there is a larger variety to choose from. I really believe that this is the new ride for the future and the wisest of the wise will be driving these bad boys :)
If you like to write, analyze, and constantly learn new things then I would suggest adding technical writing to your goal list. I have done a lot of research on this career and it is filled with a lot of opportunities. I will be getting my certificate from California State University East Bay. You can sign up anytime and you have 6 months to complete the program. I am excited to sign up but will need to speak with my work to see if they will reimburse some of this for me. Well…... I took my first step today and made an appointment with a brand new dentist today since moving up from Southern California to the Seattle area. I just hope that this dentist is as good as the last one that I had. I think that is why I procrastinated on this for the past 3 years. Wish me luck!!!!
