I lived nearby and saw it launch about a dozen times. This was back around 1995-96 when they were launching constantly. Best time to go is during early morning hours. Best viewing point is sitting on the beach south of the cape. And if you’re in the area and don’t have time to see it, just tune the radio on and look up and east, you can see it within at least a 20 mile radius.
