I finally did it, after having cold feet for about a year. It was about what I expected…minor surgery, twilight sleep and an overnight stay in the hospital. I did get majorly nauseous and throw up the day after, but i’m now home with pain meds, nausea meds and a strong NSAID for cramping. I feel weak, but happy to have it be over and be home.
Hopefully I will see a pay-off in less bleeding during my periods and more energy as my anemia goes away. Unfortunately with a fibroid this size it can take up to a year.

once again, the best of intentions… to reconnect with those i care about and let them know they are important to me.
a good start… all cards written, sealed, addressed by Dec. 18
then, no 42 cent stamps and it is an Artic Blizzard outside
ok, got the stamps, it is after Christmas but before New Year’s.
can’t find the cards because i put them in a “safe place”
found the cards but it is now March. Do I send them? With a note? and if so what do i say? sigh.
